Scheme

In Proprius21 feasibility studies, there are three basic phases which occur sequentially.

  • Plaza activities create opportunities for university-corporate meetings and socialization. Opinions are exchanged openly.
  • In individual activities, the research topic is narrowed and appropriate members are selected for the research team.
  • Through SLOT activities, members of the research team develop thorough plans, receive feedback regarding their plans from a third party, and revise and improve their plans before finalizing them.

To promote Proprius21 projects, the Office of Collaborative Research Development provides broad support to individual faculty researchers in conducting meetings, seminars, and workshops. Full support is also offered to research teams, from the topic selection stage to planning. Our coordinator’s role is to respond to any inquiries from private companies and to provide support during planning. This includes introducing staff from the University, providing technical advice, and reviewing plans.
